Motor Maintenance FAQ ?

Guys ive done a search on how to Maintain a Brushed motor but cant find any, Does anyone have a link to a how to change brushes etc ??

A question to you guys running modified brushed motors.

Once you have stripped, cleaned, possibly cut coms and rebrushed how are you setting your timing if you do not have a dyno?

I’ve got quite a few little used Trinity D3s and D3.5s and I’d like...

its a good question...not ignorant at all. i use a protech 701 with adjustable current. u can put a voltmeter on it and put it to 7.2v. if u keep your 702 on 6 cell should be just fine👍

So I see a lot of talk on here about maintenance of ball diffs. What is an appropriate schedule, and what exactly do you guys do? Just clean, inspect, and regrease? Any grease prefered over others? How often do you rebuild with new balls, washers,...

After letting the weeds take over since last year, I finally decided to clean up my backyard track and prep it for some bashing.

I spent about two hours yesterday with a weed eater and about two more hours today with a rake and wheelbarrow in 90+...

If you are going get some dirt check out landscape centers. cubic yard s around $40 here at the landscape suppliers or $20 from the city reuse facility... Bring a truck :)

How do you take the crank shaft and piston out of a nitro engine? I have the piston sleeve out and everything else is disassembled but... :?

If you have an original Stealth, it uses a 45 tooth diff gear, a 20 tooth top gear so it's 2.25:1 ratio.
