Best CD and movie of 2009?

Post by THEYTOOKMYTHUMB »

Everyone else will be putting out their lists so why not us? This year was/is particularly busy for me; much to my dismay, but here's what I thought:
Music:
3. Alice In Chains "Black Gives Way To Blue"
2. Third Eye Blind "Ursa Major"
1. Blue October "Approaching Normal" (If you haven't bought it, get it comin'!)

Movies(I saw a lot fewer this year than normal due to scheduling, but from what I did see):
3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
2. The Hangover (although seeing it early I still don't think it's as good as the hype. Good though.)
1. Friday The 13th 2009 (Although I'm a very big F13 fan and very biased!)

Add whatever categories you want. Some just require too much thought for me...

I just saw Wolverine and thought it was pretty well done, certainly kept to the standard of the previous X-Men movies. I wonder if they'll have Wolvie's brother in future movies.

The new Alice In Chains is excellent.

For best CD, it's a two way tie for me.

I don't think I've seen any movies this year, so I can't comment on that.
