Re: optima / Tecnacraft ad replica
the second and third shot look pretty good. I wonder if they used a colored filter over the light like may orange or yellow.

Re: optima / Tecnacraft ad replica
the light in that ad is diffused, and from the back right side, based on the rear wheel shadow.
good effort though, the shadowing looks cool! sinister......

For the optima, I'd just love a set of those first ones on the left.murphy3428 wrote:the original buggy in the ad from tecnacraft has no winga01butal wrote:Needs a Tecnacraft wing
Car looks great but definitely need a little more angled light on the wheels for the purposes of the pics..

Re: optima / Tecnacraft ad replica
spot light from the back top for the shadow, but definitely had softer lights at the fornts too: to get that shine on the body and wheels
I don't remeber ever seeing this ad. What mag's did it appear in? And what are those dogbones: one-ways?

Sorry for my bad eyes, but I think it says ???? Catalog at the bottom?Mr. ED wrote:I don't remeber ever seeing this ad. What mag's did it appear in? And what are those dogbones: one-ways?
And murphy, I love the sinister wingless look. Get the lighting effects right and you'll have a sweet replica. It appears some colored light gels were used as well.

Awesome project, what a sharp buggy!
Heck with this faux-studio photography, take it out in the sun and get a good picture.
