Novak T1 and T4 Questions

Hello,

I am a new member. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to get some of my old toys running.

Does anyone know what the two small red wires are on my Novak T1 and T4 are used for. On my T1 they were shorted together, but on my T4 they are cut cleanly.

Other wires that are accounted for are 4 16 guage battery and motor wires and the wires that go to the on/off switch.

it's for the internal voltage regulator. read step #4:
