Below is an example of what I mean done freehand so not perfect but you get the idea,

If you are really keen on getting the gaps perfect use 2 exacto blades taped together with a spacer in between (to the width of your choice).

Thanks for the tip.
I like that carbon look.
I am not that worried about perfection but I am going to paint my cosmo body with window frames and we will see how that goes. I will post pics when I do it.
