Brushless question
Can you run more conventional batteries with a brushless setup, or do I need to run lipo? Was going to go with a traxxas velion brushless setup and having to buy that and a good lipo at the same time is a bit much.

Re: Brushless question
you can run ni-cd and ni-mh packs with brushless. lipo is preferred due to the benefits that they offer. but are not a requirement.

Re: Brushless question
Yep you def can run older batteries with them. I remember when the Mamba mini systems first came out they would shutter when you started if you used crumby batteries. It had to do with the amp draw and that the bad cells couldn't feed it but other than that there was never any issue
