I brought them to my local track with my boys a couple of weeks ago. my young boys run these runners. and came back alive. only the damage were gold pan's rear shock tower and FL tub's twisted nose plate. right side wheel is 3mm highter than left one. anyone has worlds nose plate for my runner?
you'll need extra weights on the front if you use FL chassis and Li-po batteries. but you don't need extra weights if it driven by your sons/grandsons.
They both look great.... especially the Fibrelite Chassis car!
Its amazing how the Worlds car looks & feels like a modern 2wd buggy (especially with your car's carbon upgrades & modern electrics) On initial glance, when sitting alongside the early car (with its gold & white parts) it looks far newer, yet - in fact the basic design is unchanged & the Worlds car still shares alot of the original car's components. Its a testament to the original Associated design that (albeit in revised form) Still looks fresh & hold its own despite being 25 years old!
P.S; where did you get the blue quick-release battery buttons from??

I think the blue battery buttons came from the B44........

nothing is scratch proof. carbon chassis' will scratch and wear just like all the others. that's one reason it's getting harder and harder to find a decent carbon chassis now. chassis tape is a very inexpensive way to protect the investment.
It's RC10 Tub 01 and it's on http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/
click on picture of the R/C car in left column, then pick Associated and then RC10 Tub Chassis.
