Associated 1/12 12R5.1 ?
Thinking about getting one of these. My question is are there any vintage looking bodies out there for it. They were running these at larry's RC the last time I was there.

with the change of body mounts i don't see why most of the 12th scale bodies out there wouldn't fit it. what type or style body are you looking for?

What's the track and wheelbase for it? I will check it against one of my old molds.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I was recently speaking to Gary McAllister about some of his 1/12 bodies from the 80's and he said the modern 1/12 cars are about 1/2" wider than the old school cars.

Putting an old 1/12 body on a new 1/12 is like driving around with a shoebox on your car compared to todays ultra low profile bodies.
Have a nice day!

I agree with you . And will get a lowpro body for it . I just like the old school bodies that came with the early Rc12's.clinehobbies wrote:Putting an old 1/12 body on a new 1/12 is like driving around with a shoebox on your car compared to todays ultra low profile bodies.
