Interesting article and first time I hear what chassis JJ was running. I always thought it was a Trinity one, or a JG unitas others claim. D&D... never heard of, and if it's a UK product I really doubt JJ would've had one.
Cool info on the gears also, I may have a used set of the light alloy ones: got it as a present from a japanese shopowner, but neither 48dp or .6 module pinions mesh well. (Maybe someone destroyed the teeth shape by running the wrong pitch.)

A big strong of the turbo chassis, beside of the better stiffnes and reliability when it comes to staying true: the counter-sunk screws!
