Trinity pulse 10.5, it's close to being the same colour, haven't seen any other gold anodised motors but post them if you see any. Only the 10.5 is gold I guess so scrutineers can pick easily it for super stock.
Dayum, that's close! It still makes me chuckle to see a Trinity brushless product knowing how badly they bashed brushless technology back a few years ago .
Yea then after that they decided to go sensorless only for some reason with those N40/60/80 motors. Was pretty dumb to bash brushless tech in the first place though

how did they bash brushless??? i like brushless cause they run great ,but on the other hand i dont like brushless for a few reasons ...cost, i can get a brushed for under $20.. plus you need to buy a brushless speed control and extra sensor wires annoy me .. i just got a brushless set up used on ebay..its a lrp sphere and a lrp motor ... i didnt even get 2 full runs out of it and the motor was dead..the core was broken into pieces.. i know used = problems but now to buy a motor its like $75... sorry to get so off topic.. the motor posted looks very cool...
i don't want to destroy the 6-gear tranny. are 17.5T blinky motors about right or are even they too much torque?

this is the manual i got with mine, and the only one on TA's web site that i could find. it's basically one page folded pamphlet. mentions a lot of stuff but nothing about reverse polarity protection:

I have had this runner for a long time as you can see from my original post, and I thought I would like a original 6 gear short arm runner. So I converted my mostly Worlds in to a 6 gear.
I bought this not too long ago to mess around with. Looks like the individual started dying the white parts black and then didn't finish :? Dispite that and a few missing parts, It's in pretty decent shape for it's age. I've procured some missing...

I started the fun buggy body project this week, it's the Parma version bug with a 2 color pactra base & vinyls I made. Simple retro style design. It wasn't suppose to be so German flag colors looking, but I'll take it. Using on-road posts I have...
