Thanks guys...I think..

Post by tizeye »

I joined this site on the 2nd Jan this year..at the time all I had was a beat up old RC10 that I'd bought locally in really bad condition.. it was an Edinger but the chassis had been hacked and most parts were worn out...I did re-build it but only after joining this forum  ...here are my current and past RC10's..if I've had this many in 8 months how many more will I buy before the bug wears off...oh yeah and there is one more on it's way from berricker... :|

It's an old spirits heated soldering iron..imagine using that baby to solder anything on your rc cars..my late grandfather was a plumber and he used this when soldering ridges and flashings on roofs..he had it down to a fine art and produced perfect joins everytime..

Nice collection, I like the old Big bear. Pretty funny how one little site can make such a huge impact on your life.

You are not kidding about having a huge impact..I had this bug once before in the late 80's early 90's I thought I was in remission until I found this site.. my daily medication consists of a visit to ebay...then waiting at the door for the courier to arrive with my latest dose...am I sick or what?

And pictures of stock car as requested...
