rc10 crazy super long arm runner project---dubbed"THE FREEK"

Post by lowrydesign »

this is what happens when creativity meets a bunch misc parts laying around........

it all started with a worlds chassis that had been narrowed "not by me"

-in the rear

old rpm truck arms "pre 10t"
b4 cvds
rpm worlds inner arm mounts
rpm big bearing carriers
rpm 2.6 truck trans
rpm 10t bulkhead
composite craft 10T rear tower
1.32 shocks

-in the front

white mip steering....ooohhhlalala
10t truck nose plate
10t front bulkhead-- modified to fit arms
10t blue nosetubes shortened
rpm rc10b3 front arms
rpm worlds front shock tower
1.32 shocks "yes rears up front!!"
rc10b4 FT spidles and carirers w/ trailing axles

so how does it drive??

AWSOME!!!! this thing soaks up everything... and since its super wide its uber stable...its a blast to drive..

- with b3 wheels its F/R track width is a bit wider than a b4.

_ Ive got about 15 hours logged on it now, time to put it on the shelf before i wear out all the parts!!!

Very cool project! I was seriously pondering the idea of putting B3 arms on my A&L build and you beat me to it .....

Good job on it!

the rear arms are shorter than standard 10t
i dont have a b4 to measure off of, i had met a guy at the track, and we compared then.

A B4 should be max 250mm wide per IFMAR/ROAR rules.

Great build. I've been rethinking what to do with the 10T on my workbench. This has been helpful. Thanks!

edit 150?

it should be 250 not 150 mm , but, yes, you're out.

Still a cool project and I'd like to see one of those many action shots you gathered during all those hours!
