White RPM parts
White RPM parts
How rare are white RPM parts? I have NIP part# 7054 rear arms, unknown part# front arms and part# 7017 steering enhancement kit all in white.
Would these be period correct for a 6030 graphite? As I have mentioned in other posts I have CC front and rear shock towers and motor plate installed on it and was thinking I might install the RPM parts for the full aftermarket look.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: White RPM parts
If you were to decide not to use the 7054 white RPM rear arms I would be interested.

Re: White RPM parts
I wish the steering kits or just the rpm steering parts in general were easier to come across.

Re: White RPM parts
I wish all the vintage stuff was still availible to buy new. rc10, traxxas, schumacher, tamiya , rpm , a&l , and the list goes on. No searching just click and buy.blown5.0 wrote:I wish the steering kits or just the rpm steering parts in general were easier to come across.

Re: White RPM parts
A few people have asked about buying the parts. Something tells me if I got rid of the parts I would regret it later on. Mods, this was not a fishing post I assure you.a01butal wrote:If you were to decide not to use the 7054 white RPM rear arms I would be interested.
Im not sure what I will do with them yet. Are there any examples on here of the parts used on different buggies? I would like to see them! Any opinions on putting the stuff on the graphite? My other choices would be (A)keeping them bagged up for future use, (B)using them on a mint new built CE 6 gear all stock, (C) using them on a restored Worlds car in about 85% condition, or (D)on the new built 6030 graphite that already has aftermarket CC shock towers and motor plate?

Re: White RPM parts
I say if you want to install aftermarket parts, go right ahead. Too many people worry about being period correct and all original.
This sight would not be as enjoyable if all anybody had was an original part restored car or truck to show off.

Re: White RPM parts
Check for posts by shodog as he has used just about every conceivable aftermarket part on his builds and everyone of them are so friggen cool it just makes you sick with envy. For that matter Asso_man! has some truly beautiful cars and both guys have some posts out there that showcase their collection. I apologize to anyone who feels left out but these 2 just come to mind first.fastang wrote:A few people have asked about buying the parts.
