Re: glue Composite Craft chassis??
It helps preventing the graphite parts to delaminate after a severe shock, I would only do it if you plan to run the car. Make sure your chassis is always perpendicular to the ground when doing it, otherwise the glue will leak on the chassis plate itself.

Re: glue Composite Craft chassis??
Ok, so how do you get the CA glue off of the edges of a graphite chassis?
Thanks, Brian

I would say by sanding with 220 to 400 depending on the amount of glue and how well it was/wasn’t done

Acetone, but be careful with the type of graphite. I have seen both good and bad results.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Re: glue Composite Craft chassis??
I have and do use Lacquer Thinner on carbon fiber and fiberglass chassis and have never had a problem it removes old double stick/foam tape like a champ, as far as using Acetone to remove CA if its still wet it seems to help but once dried I have not had good results with anything other then sandpaper. If anyone has used Acetone with good results on hardened CA please let me know what works best for you and I will certainly give it a shot as little looks worse then a big nasty glue mark where it doesn’t belong.
Re: glue Composite Craft chassis??
Works the same as Acetone or far better? It was my understanding that De-bonder is Acetone and with 3 daughters there is always nail polish remover to be had.
