Getting ready to build up my new cars for next season (we break over Christmas here).

Took a couple of snaps - most of the cars are vintage runners - so I keep with my modern racers in the same place. Makes for interesting comparisons of old and "new" sometimes! ;)

Like others, for the vintage stuff, all the boxes have at least a couple of cars in each - and parts for those runners.

Its a sickness!

You know, I don't think it's a sickness. It's a cure! Nice place Retro R/C!

and got to work on spackling. i had someone else come in and do my kid's bedroom, but felt like trying to tackle this one on my own. for never really doing it before, i think it turned out pretty good. 4 days later, i had the room in primer.

i just wish it was bigger. 6 x 11......... doesn't give you a bunch of room. but atleast the majority of my r/c stuff will be out of the basement and i can get going on some renovations down there.

That seems like a decent amount of space...it's not the size that matters, anyway!

6 X 11 is a pretty good space to work in. Just put up lots of useful shelving. Of course that does mean you'd have to poke a bunch of holes in that pretty new drywall...

it is a decent size. but you don't understand the amount of r/c crap that i have, and hope to wedge in there.

not only that, but when we bought the house, that room was dedicated as my "nascar room". i have over 300 1/24 nascar diecast cars, and the majority of them were all setup. i'm hoping to be able to get them in there again, too. but, i don't see it happening.

Looks good man! Seeing some of your bodywork on the full size cars, drywall mudding probably seemed familiar!? I did my garage this fall, and it was my first time finishing. Bloody mess though.

now that the holidays are over i get my work space back, just a desk in the basment. good thing though because the garage is friggen cold right now!

i'll snap a pic of my meager work space tonight.
