

The two gear set ups in the one pic are HPI.The open sided one is a center diff (identical to the one in my MT2 but MT2 is adjustable,) and the other is a front or rear (the same)diff from same.HPI used this set up in a lot of the nitro line up.kaiser wrote:Incredible_Serious id'd the gearbox as a shuey nitro daytona. that looks alot like a thorpe dif with the dog bone setup for a frog/blackfoot/monster beetle
I cleaned up the edges of my 'Cuda body alternating between a gentle, steady-handed Dremel on slow speed with a cone-shaped grinding stone and 400-grit sandpaper. Purple pan denotes a Cougar 2 Works. Looks like it has carbon towers as well, so was probably a Works from birth.
The Works is the Cougar2 top-spec model from the factory....
