Kyosho Outrage

Post by radioactivity »

I acquired this car quite a while ago.
It is in very good condition.
Required very little clean up and tidying up.
Came with the original body and no scratches on it's belly.
The body quality is very poor with many bumps and imperfections. But it is most probably original.

Wow, that came out really great! I've always wanted to see one hopped-up, and with a different body. Everyone always goes for the box art look with them. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Note: Maybe someone on here has done just that, and I haven't seen it. :P

Thanks so much Lowgear

Can't take a lot of credit for the original condition of the car.
The car almost looks as if it has never been run. Tires look excellent and so does the belly.
No scuffs from being upside down, not a scratch.

I did start with thorough cleaning and re-lubing, which was not totally necessary.
Trimmed the body a bit to straighten edges and round out curves.
Then I cleaned up some wiring and just the other day paint and decals were applied.

I do really like the design of the body and the graphics are nice as well.

Very nicely finished!

I'm not familiar with the Outrage but it looks to have a lot in common with the Ultima. Maybe the name comes from the Ultima wheels being molded in pink. 😉

The Outrage has a great body, love those lines. The sticker sheet...not so much. :P

Hello Coel,

Low to the ground, swoopy lines with some added details. Almost MantaRay'ish. I like it too.
I agree the decals leave a lot to be desired.
This particular car did beg for box art, in my opinion, due to it's pristine nature.
Only one other of my "finds" was nearly this original.
