here is my ongoing project that i decided to build so i could race a sprint car once in a while. in stead of shelling out the big bucks for Custom Works GBX and pretty much just let it sit around i threw this together with as much stuff i had laying around.
i have these 2 sprint chassis from this older post, i decided to build one as a shelfer and build one as a full out racer.

i took the cage from the fiberglass chassis ,since its pretty beat up, and put it on the graphite chassis along with the towers and set it aside for the next project. i didnt want to cut or alter these chassis since i dont know who made them so here is what i did. i took the cage from the graphite chassis and most of all the other parts and made my own mid motor gbx style chassis, i also made the front and rear towers. i wanted laydown shocks on the front, that was a must and i wanted them to fit under the hood and clear the cage. the front arm mounts are stock rc-10 just filed down slightly on the inside so i could mount them closer together. they now have the same hinge pin spacing as a 10t notice the truck hinge pin brace. the only non associated parts are the sassy chassy bell cranks, losi hub carriers, cheetah castor wedges, and c.w. battery strap. dont mind the wheels & tires they are just some Birdsboro wheels i used for mock up. it's still not done, i have a new body and wing and lots of little things to do to it but the bulk of it is done for now.
