The Chrome looks nice. Someone took some time to do that. The tub can be straightened with ruining the finish. Am I wrong? Good luck with build it should look awesome when you are done.

You can fix that! Just put it in a large vice with some wood and rags to protect the chassis, and bend it back straight. A 2x4 against the inside of the chassis works very well for that. Check how straight it is on a sheet of glass after, keep tweaking until it's flat.

Be Careful!
I would leave it tweaked, because if you notice it is chrome plated, and this plating is not flexible. Therefore the chrome would crack and or chip off, ruining the finish, if you tried to correct the bend it has. At this point just live with it or find a cheap normal gold anodized car to run.
Plus you may find you will need to run thread taps through the threaded holes, since the threads are now chromed over. This too could ruin your chrome plate finish.
I wish you luck.

Oh crap, that's actual chrome plate? I thought it was polished aluminum?

If that's plate, like Ruffy said, don't bend it! If it's polished, go for it!
