So i have a set of Tecnacraft wheels but they have paint on the back from being mounted to some painted hubs. Anybody have an idea how to remove the paint without hurting the Ano?

On a side note i also tried the acetone trick to remove some tires from a set of wheels, it also worked great, i was worried during the process, the tires kinda grew and got really soft, but after the glue was gone and the tires sat for a wile they...

I have two mint wheels for another xx Losi project but the (previous owner) painted them neon red instead of painting the discs. I soaked them with alcohol to remove the tires, and some paint cracked and pealed off but the recesses in the wheel are...

That stuff sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I have a body or two I want to try stripping and some painted wheels as well. I'm going to have to place an order for a can and try it out. :)

Who makes good paint masks?. Hard to find ones that ship to Canada.

you might check with MCI Racing CA. I've never asked them about masks but they make reproduction vinyl RC decals so they may be able to help. Plus, they're Canadian.

I have an RC10 (of course) that I've been slowly restoring. The car I now have is made up from 2 complete cars plus a new mint chassis. One of the cars came with a clear body that some clown had decided to cut an extra hole in along with a bad...

I always liked mayfields driving style, there is something about it that is raw, a little wreckless, not as calculated as tebo or cavaliri, but with some passion behind it. it might sound weird getting that out of watching a car go around the track....

I picked up some bodies with stickers I want to remove. What is the best way to do it without damaging the lexan?

Lighter fluid works well for getting off the stick. the kind you use for a zippo. Doesnt hurt the lexan. Don't see why denatured alcohol wouldn't work too.

How do i remove the chrome from traxxas pede/rustler wheels? They are new but chrome is disappearing off them as they sit and want to use them with proline front wheels on my rc10 scorcher project to put sandpaddle tires on them.Don
