Im glad everyone likes this example of what I consider to be one of Schumacher's sweetest looking buggies. While the design left it behind on the race track back in the day the guys who designed it were definately looking to turn heads (and I remember it did).
Glad to see Brandon likes this one.

Just purchased a topcat but it needs a few parts What is the best alternative to the original crash back front suspension bands as it currently doesnt have one ?Any help appreciated

TBG does, but I don't see any right now. I am actually mounting one up right now, I stupidly cut the front arches on the side wrong but it will look OK when I am done.

Finaly I have managed to buy a Schumacher TopCat, just waiting on it's arrival, this car has been at the very top of my must have list for ages. :D Comes wiith new original body, wing and all the other related bits and pieces :D

Seen this is primarily a vintage forum... I think it is fairly normal to find lots of people here who like something 'different'.
I also like to own my own creations: not because they perform better than the others ('cause usually they don't :lol: )...

Recent aquisitions to undergo refurb. Pictured as I received them, the cougar looks like it has been well used but looked after, the topcat looks like it has seen a lot less use but is definitely in need of some love.

Topcat undergone its first wash, it was really dirty. Looked like a spider had taken residence in the front bulkhead. Chassis had a quick go over with some brasso but still needs more work to get it properly cleaned up. Not sure on the front end...

I've been hunting for the right Topcat for ages and finally found one :D I wasn't really looking for one in great condition as they tend to go for a high price in good condition, plus there's something about the restoration that i really love....

I have a Tekin 410K which is too late, a Nosram F1 a Futaba 210 and a Speedmaster Silverstar. The Silverstar would be more period correct, but it's just the look of them i don't like...
