LTO, I hear the paypal account firing up again... I had to get the 3.5mm turnbuckles in order to use the gray ends, but these will work the trick: http://store.rc4wd.com/Aluminum-35mm-Rod-End-with-Steel-Ball-1_p_628.html Thanks for the link! May need very short spacers underneath for proper movement.
Now (in that movie trailer guy's voice)............................................just when you thought that you could go back to nylon....................................................when it seemed that no more Titanium could be found....................................................all the worlds supply of magnesium depleted....................................................aluminum was only a distant memory-
all hope was lost-
Then just as it was all going for the worst....................................................... our hero emerges........................................................................with the alloy of the gods!!!!!!!!...........................................If they can only get away with it-
I just thin it's the fact that Reg's has too much time on his hands and he may want to spend more attention to his new boy
on second thought, maybe he shouldn't be teaching little Hammer such fancy dialect unless Reg's plan is to have a little MC Hammer
just to give ya some idea, i was going to make a set of turnbuckles like this for a sandrail project i never finished, still got the aluminum and ends sitting there lol

First off, we are ( supposedly ) having a girl Secondly, I have too much time on my hands? this from the guy that has build 15 runners for Rod while at ( cough, cough ) work and has used a 500X microscope to look at shock shafts!
Mike, that is a lot of polishing! Are those turnbuckle ends in the pics above like the ones mentioned in the link earlier? What is being used underneath the ends for spacers?
This this is basically going to be a stock gold pan rc10 with titanium turnbuckles, stealth tranny and a few mods to lighten and a couple litlle Cliff Lett inspired mods.

Well I have a simple problem that seems to have a complex answer. My Goldpan weighs in at about 4.25-4.5 pounds and is really quite the piece to try and power. I have the aluminum chassis that has braces on the top and bottom made out of aluminum...

Yeah I got the idea when i got tired of spinning out on pavement and slamming the rear corners into the fence poles and breaking stuff.
I bought this not too long ago to mess around with. Looks like the individual started dying the white parts black and then didn't finish :? Dispite that and a few missing parts, It's in pretty decent shape for it's age. I've procured some missing...

I want to incorporate as many vintage elements as I can, but...
This is my start to a gold pan runner build. Milled the chassis at work and rounded over back of chassis where it attaches to the motor and also rounded over the nose piece and cut it the same shape as the 6309 nose. Then sanded edge of chassis all...

Got a set of 20deg knuckles and inline axles in and installed. Gonna pull apart some wheels I got as well and dye some parts black and try to finish up the rear shortly. Slow progress but progress non-the-less!
This is a great site and I would like to get some info regarding RC10 Gold Pan Runner builds. I have a A Stamp chassis and would like to use the same B4 Hub Set Up with B44 CVAs. Most of the builds that I see here in the forum shows a B4 Hub/B44 CVA...
