I think i'll just keep it as aerodynamic as possible, shoudl be better than a B44 in that regard..

It's getting there, made the final front and rear tensioner pulleys out of aluminium and finished all the driveshafts. After having a few steel driveshafts bend in the lathe for the front driveshafts I made the CVA end out of steel with a 10mm tube coming off it and the shaft out of aluminium pressed into the tube.

Put all the steering linkages on, just have to make the front brace which will go from the front gearbox to the steering posts and through the middle of the belt to attach to the original front brace posts. Then I can pull it all apart and clean up the alloy bits for anodising and then do the final assembly.

Also for a body to test with, got a stuffed deja vu tu and chopped the front off, bent up a piece of lexan and glued it on as a new front. It didn't need to be much higher than the original, just had to go straight rather than slope down heaps. Bit wider too to clear the pulley.

Are you sure the press-fit will do for the bones?

Yeah i've done it before after snapping the dog bone end off some cvd's I turned another end out of aluminium and pressed it over the original shaft. Forgot to mention I use loctite 603 with it too, that stuff is strong!

Nah no racing because it was too wet. Just mucked around a bit, got clay all over my RC10 and Topcat gonna be fun cleaning it all up

That looks ace, some seriously good work has gone into that car Are you going to grind down the chassis ribs and run saddle packs either side of the belt? Otherwise can't work out where the battery will go.

The battery fits in the standard b3 position underneath the belt. The belt has 2 idler pulleys on the bottom to raise it up enough to clear the battery and the servo.
