It was a cool finish and i got some nice photos but a few things were buggin me about it. One was the fact that i ending up cutting a hole in the rear of the body so it can clear heatsinks of the newly installed Novak ESC. Two was that the decals peeled off after a couple of months and Three that the body was not a licensed Lambo body like what HPI offers.
After redoing my RC10DS Camaro with a new Kyosho body i decided to finish the Redo i had started on the Lambo a few months ago. I was toying around with the wheels and finally decided on a set of Tamiya Countach wheels with slick tires. For the body i went with the HPI Murcielago. I cut, trimmed and mounted the body a few days ago. I removed the wing off the Gallardo body and transfered it onto the Murcielago. I also limited the front shock ride height by installing internal spacers on the shock shafts. Now im truly happy with the car and all i have to decide is on the paint color and apply the decals.

Photos of the painted body soon to follow...now lets see what colors do i have in my stash

UPDATE 9/24/2021
The final touch to the Lambo has been applied. I had custom Italian flag theme tri-color #1 decals made in 3 sizes and two styles by a guy in Virginia. One style is just the number and the second style is the number within the white circle. I placed a few of the extras on the chassis
