Re: AI and the RC10Talk forum
Lane assist is a tool to keep you from running off the road, This caught me off guard the first time I drove a car that was smart, my cars are all too dumb to even tell you if your seatbelt isn't fastened..... But I found the fact that when you veer into the next lane to avoid parked cars on the si...

Re: help starting OS Max
Since the pullstart has no relation to the glow plug the only thing I can think of is the one way bearing is sticking to the starting shaft or somehow getting stuck when it's put under the load of compression. Take it off and clean it in some type of cleaner, take note of the direction of the bearin...

Gongratulations Frankentruck, great job and well deserved
The build of the year was like watching a fantastic A final, not only for first place but further down the field there were some good battles going on. Thanks to everyone, that was fun.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
The T2 may have come with a couple different springs through its production. Depending on the surface your racing on you'd go up on spring rate as the grip increases. Also if you move the shock in on the arm you'd likely go up on spring rate too. The light green springs are listed as same spring rat...

Re: Built Or Bought
It also comes down to how you build the car as well... Provided all things equal, Driver A puts the car together straight out of the box. Driver B puts the same car together but cleans out the bearings, free's the car up, preps the tires etc... Driver A can't figure out why driver B's car is so much...

Re: The next rere... a GT?!!
You can still use pull start engines in the non pullstart mount as long as you have the non pull flywheel. The backplate just hangs down from the chassis a little bit

Re: The next rere... a GT?!!
Not the best photos but here's a pull start engine with non pull mounts. The only negative is that the pullstart hangs down below the chassis. The OS engines have/had big pull starts so something like a Force engine with a smaller pull start wouldn't be nearly as bad. The header on the other hand wo...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2025 ** - Winner - coxbros1
Not super vintage but it's Associated first official 4wd buggy. This is an early kit which has been raced a couple seasons on carpet and put away just as you see it, there is still carpet fuzz in the wheels.
