Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Thanks! Same polish I always use on aluminum, lexan and now carbon fiber, Meguiar's Ultimate. I put a healthy daub on a flat sponge polishing pad and spin with a drill. To be honest, I really could not pick up the very minor scratch remnants with the camera, but I did try. Way better than it starte...

Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
Why wouldn't one make a lower CG tower and remove the lower shock mounts, thus mounting the shocks directly to the arm? You already tweaked the front.

Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches
I finally had some motivation so I installed the driveshaft. I was paranoid that it was too long but it's actually pretty good. I also filled the diff with some Torco non friction modified racing oil, so all that's left to do is bleed the rear brakes and it's drivable again, however, I'll install al...

Re: Brushless motor analyzer
It will tell you how aligned the hall sensors are as well as actual timing since the notches on motors are always way off. It will also tell you KV at a certain amp draw, most people seem to set the amp draw at 5 - 6 amps to help find the sweet spot which should keep it at a safe-ish temp under race...

Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches
Not sure if I posted anything about these earlier or not but this is also something I've been working on and off for the last 10 years as well  To go along with my mag wheels and stock steel wheels/hub caps I also picked up a set of Fairlane Sportsman wheels to give myself options. I wouldn't s...

Re: Plan C RC10T3 Shelfer
This has taken a left turn as I turned this truck into a box stock shelfer... I bought a new rear chassis plate and a few other goodies plus used some of my T3 stuff that I've been hoarding for the right occasion. It's not perfect but still pretty clean. If I come across better parts I'll swap em ou...
