Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches

Thanks for that, I may pick up a couple just in case....

If I buy them chances are they won't leak, but if I don’t buy 'em you can bet they will leak

I made sure the lines entered the fittings straight and made sure the flares weren't crooked, so we're halfway there... lol

Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches

It is a couch in my garage. Even though I technically want a couch in my garage I would like to get rid of it in favor for chairs. I've got a microwave, radio, fridge, kettle and a wood burning stove...... so basically I just need a TV. Money and time seem to be the limiting factor on how quickly th...

I took this a long time ago at the Miramar Dream Machines show with an old crappy flip phone. The photo is untouched.

Re: Today, Right Now, Your Most Fun RC Surface Vehicle?

Over the years, I have had the most fun with two very different vehicles: - Originally, a Schumacher Cougar2 Team buggy, which was often converted to a truck, and which I pretty much wore out..... - Later, a HPI Blitz short course truck, which I ran all over the place, and had no issues with breaki...

If I had more money I would have loved to give speed runs a real go, that and if we actually had a place that was smooth enough considering the closest surface to Australia is Mars...

Re: RC10T2 Fun Truck

Body finished, I used whatever colors I had and sticker bombed it. Not fantastic but good enough for a runner, some better stickers would make things better. There was hardly any paint bleed which is unusual, lol. I need to learn the airbrush  I'm not a huge fan of the Jconcepts fiddled body, ...

Could be the fail safe momentarily hitting throttle instead of brake until the signal is restored. What happens when you turn the radio off?

Re: RC10T2 Fun Truck

I've updated the standard ESC firmware with some dynamic timing firmware so I can make it anywhere from sedate to out of control  These Hobbywing 8.5T combos are fantastic and great all round performers. Tomorrow I'll try to give it a shakedown run, hopefully it comes back in one piece

Re: RC10T2 Fun Truck

Thanks Toaster, I couldn't put my finger on it either but I just wasn't feeling it at the time. Took it out for its first run today and it ran pretty flawless. A grassy park wasn’t my first choice but it worked fine, except for when twigs would occasionally get stuck in a rim and sound like the old ...
