Re: Painted up a body for my T4

Thanks guys. Like Todd I used to watch this sort of stuff on TV all the time.

My favorite was when TNN motorsport was on non stop Friday nights, everything from swamp bugies, to stadium trucks to monster trucks and more.

Re: Losi XX-4 Rebuild

I am close to done with this build. I am really happy with it. I am going to keep electronics out of it for now. I think it looks so clean without, so I will rock it as is for now. I still need to find a Trinity servo mount piece, and still need to have my OG non hot weather body painted. I want to ...

Re: JRX-2 aftermarket build Updated 1/30/19

Thanks guys. The shock carts are by SRS, they are machined delrin and use the rebuild kits from the old school bottom load rc10 gold shocks. I actually load them with a combo of modern ae spacers, and traxxas rebuild kits which include the retaining clip and washer as these are easier to come by tha...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

I believe the top diff is for a kyosho model, I just modified a pair of diff hubs for Jeremy that looked identical. I think thorp would be a split hub design with three screws. see this info: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=43787 the white gear diff below that looks like a traxxas ...

Re: Where are they now?

Dan had strong opinions but I learned long ago that he was usually right. He was like an encyclopedia of knowledge of vintage RC and I'll miss the entire chapters of text he'd write in his forum posts, there was a lot to learn from him. I don't know what happened but his wealth of knowledge and expe...
