strip the chassis and have it powdercoated gloss black :)

I helped clean it up for a friend a few years back.

Re: Sacrilege build - AYK Pro Radiant RACER

But then, as luck would have it - I was able to get a 2nd Radiant - notice I did not say Pro :) this happened to be (per Steve Dunn via Facebook) and early conversion car from Radiant to a mid motor "Pro" car. So my focus changed to swap arms on this one, keeping the killer orange arms asi...

Re: The tale of 3 builds -OR- How projects multiply mysteriously

Who did that sparkle chassis for you?!? I love it! DA Graphite, the same company who did the Dukomo (sp?) and HPI stuff, he still has it in stock! And, yes, we all know how projects multiply like little rabbits... and parts cars... and runner cars... and shelfers... and cars then for sale... all of...

Re: I May be Insane - 6-Gear Short Arm Content

I ran this car for a little while, using the jelly beans and 'stock' re-re classic tires. Took 3rd out of 6 in stock buggy, using a 27t brushed as well. A lot had to do with me understanding the car and being able to toss it through the corners. I didnt clear the big doubles like the modern buggies,...

Re: The tale of 3 builds -OR- How projects multiply mysteriously

Yes, I boiled most everything (except the 2 'new' additions).

I'm gonna be working on the cars again today, fixing up Mr. Yellow, putting more of Pinky together and doing a once over on the 2 new kids on the block. I may do a quick clean up and final assembly on the Eagle LS as well :)

Re: The tale of 3 builds -OR- How projects multiply mysteriously

An SRT 'fell' into my possesion (different thread), and the stock steering parts 'fell' onto my TRX1, with custom extended SAE axles. I can run Re-re Worlds/B4 front bearing wheels with zero loss of width now & no rubbing.
