Re: Brat Steering
They're direct steering, so just need a large after market servo saver (Kimbrough, etc), links and ball cups. Standard Tamiya ball studs are 5mm. You'll need to measure the rod lengths. But any 4-40 should do (generic cut-to-length, pre-cut titanium, etc).

Re: Brat Steering
Oh wait, I need to clarify... Tamiya uses metric hardware. If you're using the existing previously installed kit ball cups that have already been threaded to Tamiya rods, then you'll want to use metric rods, not 4-40. Re: The Ultimate Driver "Kyosho Outlaw Rampage Truck"
I remember similar power gains on my Nitro Hawk Image .12 back in the day. When I removed the pull start and one-way and replaced with a heat sink back plate, it had very noticeable improvement in acceleration.
Man, nitro was awesome back then!

Re: JRX Pro SE Refurb
All of the Pro and Pro SE threads this week inspired me to pull this project down off the shelf again.
Trying to decide between stock front tower, or Jammin' steering enhancement kit...
Also trying to decide if it'll get the Jr's Choice motor, or Double Trouble.

I love it!!!
Did you replace the battery box foam too, or was the existing foam still in good shape?

Had to take a step back to take a few steps forward. Disassembled to install new rear tower and new Jammin' front suspension kit.

Re: JRX Pro SE Refurb
Looks like the old tower on my car was a two-hole Jammin' tower, but the spindle carriers were standard.
Old parts on left, new Jammin' parts on right...
Jammin' spindle carriers look like the LXT carriers.
