Re: What Type Of Nylon Is Used On AE Vehicles?

That’s how it’s done!! I dabble in material selection of injection molded resins; the discussion is pretty boring without the excitement of destructive testing! Some things you can’t quantify either…some materials stress whiten or have things happen because of the part design. So the actual testing ...

Re: What Type Of Nylon Is Used On AE Vehicles?

Im sure modern materials have advanced, but back in the day Daryl said they would mold a few different materials and take the wheels out back to the dumpster and chuck them as hard as they could to see if they could get them to break. The material they ended up with was the one that survived the du...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I suspect the dirt master manuals were pieced together off the old rb5 as I have built many of the Kyosho Legendary series and the dirt master (as well as the dirt cross) manual is terrible in comparison. Not the worst, but not totally clear on some steps. The Shumacher method of one bag, one step ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

GoMachV…You hit the nail on the head about the Dirtmaster manuals. I had some re-do steps and not all of them were due to my own inattention. Then a few parts in bags where you don’t expect them to be adds a fun element to the project. Between the 2 kits, one had aluminum slipper discs and the other...

Re: Kyosho Ultima Lineup 1991

Yeah it's too bad they couldn't have predicted the future lol, the outlaw was competing with the jrxt and shotgun as were the conversions until the 10t came out a year later. oops, my brain must be messing with me. Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance

GoMachV wrote: Sat Dec 28, 2024 8:43 am Not unexpectedly, it's a 6 gear kit. Likely with bushings as well. Spot the universals, they got that part right.
This is the ultimate 21.5 Heritage class racer. Well done AE!

Someone.....Factoryworks.com....would do well making the 48p conversion for this!

I would try to tap the stupid thing in and it didn't go, bounced out. Chased it down and tried again. Same thi...

Re: im an idiot

We've all made stupid mistakes, the question is, was anything learned from it? Better yet, was anything learned from the mistakes of others?

The obvious answer to those questions is . . . Of course not!

Re: Traxxas TRX3 or TCP Manual

Thank you Sir👍

Didn’t think there was much of a chance to find one. I will add this to the scan archive. There might be a few members looking for this manual.

Thank you again Jeff.
