Re: Bolink Invader Oval

Well, my CNC future is a bit on hold right now, so I got a shock tower from factoryworks.com Then had a little time today to get some things installed. Getting close to being ready for the body. And I know the rear driveshaft is really the oddball here, but TBH, the front suspension is just as suspi...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Finishing up a couple of pairs of fronts for an upcoming Ten 4.1 project. I still need to drill the axle and screw holes to size.

Re: off topic: fry sauce

I've heard of it, but it is rare to find it offered here. Rare enough that a lot of people here probably haven't heard of it. I watch a lot of the food shows and know about it mostly from them. You can buy it in a bottle in the store but only a couple of chains around here offer it in a restaurant. ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

The Schumacher spike rib tires are a good fit for the front wheel. That's probably what one of my Ten4.1 builds with use.

Re: off topic: fry sauce

Not to hijack the thread, but one thing that does seem to be regional is the use of mayonnaise. Personally, I'm more of a salad dressing (mayo with sweet relish) kind of guy, but mayo is fine. My point is, I hear some regions/restaurants use it liberally on everything, the only place I ever see it i...

Re: off topic: fry sauce

My stomping grounds were Portland to Salem, Mt. Hood to the coast. Bob's Big Boy was the burger place of Salem where I went to college. I left the state in the mid-80's, Burgerville must have come after that.

Re: Bolink Invader Oval

Try to get the steering arms as parallel as possible to the arms and it should cut down the bump steer tremendously Yea, I get the theory, but just not seeing how to mount the servo / horn at this point to help. The plates and fasteners are in the way. Hopefully it will click at some point and I wi...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

I'm thinking I see the best 4wd ever made in Blue there by AE, cough, Yokomo. So in the case of the RC10 4WD, AE is not doing a re-re of a kit, rather they are doing a re-re of a concept. That concept being the marketing of someone else's 4WD buggy as their own. AE 4WD buggy designers: ...
