How crazy, one just popped up on ebay

I can’t say for sure, but I think DA Graphite were the ones that did the cell cutouts that way

From their website, you can see the cutouts on the chassis on the left. I don’t know of any other company that did this

Just my .02 but I still think that’s a wide shim. There seems to be a slight void where it is up against the steering arm, plus that would make the steering arm hole really thin. In the first pic it looks like two shims

I know it’s for smaller wire but when I saw this clip on Facebook I immediately thought of this thread. Might be a handy idea for something in the future

That gear cover looks like a replacement for the Hirobo cars like the 44b. Scoot Mike might need that

My understanding is that it’s larger all around. They are both 1/18 so the midget would be ballpark 3/4 of the size of a sprint

I did this video years ago to demonstrate the poor fitment of the rere case and idler. I think both are at fault, as you can see by the video. My topshaft was not a problem. Some were.
