How crazy, one just popped up on ebay

I can’t say for sure, but I think DA Graphite were the ones that did the cell cutouts that way

From their website, you can see the cutouts on the chassis on the left. I don’t know of any other company that did this

Just my .02 but I still think that’s a wide shim. There seems to be a slight void where it is up against the steering arm, plus that would make the steering arm hole really thin. In the first pic it looks like two shims
