Re: 2.2 wheels on Ultima rere
This was pretty easy bitd when AE wheels were 3/16 x 5/16 flanged- the 5/16 bearing hole was fine with the stock 8mm bearing pressed in. Unfortunately when they went to the 3/16 x 3/8 bearing hole there isn’t a metric size that is close enough. You would would need to have front axles made for 3/16 ...

Re: MIP 4X4 kit for the RC10 - GAUGING INTEREST ONLY
They wouldn’t do it when the rere cars were plentiful, from the business side it would be plain stupid to do one now that the rere are gone.
And yes, I’d buy one. But it still will never happen.

Re: Did all the t2 chassis share the 7301 part number?
Going from memory… the 7011 sport truck was being sold as the entry level kit still when the T2 arrived in Team only form. Pretty sure it was towards the end of the T2 when the sport came out and took over entry level. Again, this is just from memory but I was working in the largest hobby shop in Or...

Re: Dusty Team Car + Wheel/Tire Qs
Guess what!? I found some 3/16 CVDs in my stash! Also, I DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT BEARINGS!!! Ugh, I checked the usual sources Avid, Boca, Fast Eddy...who am I missing? They do have some options but I just need the standard $1 bearing not a ceramic bearing for space shuttle use. Also, is the 3/16 x 3/8...

Re: Ivan Stewart Toyota replica
Well poo. Was playing in the snow- she is a wheelie monster. Lot of fun, lot of tumbles too. Unfortunately it’s front wheel drive now as it spat out the rear driveshaft and it’s nowhere to be found. So now we start to modify. I’m fairly certain the HPI Flux 5900kv is a bit spicy for it, but hey it’s...

Re: Tamiya metal-shielded bearings
I’ve bought some cheap bulk bearings from China and can say 100% that is not what Tamiya is doing haha. The quality of the Tamiya bearings is inline with Avid, Acer, etc which are also cheap Chinese bearings but higher in quality for certain. As with anything, you get what you pay for. Tamiya isn’t ...

Re: Bolink Digger sort of
Carpet tape/ double sided tape without foam works well. Install it on the wheel with the outer protection still on it, install the foam tire, then peel at the protective coating till you can pull it out. Hope that makes sense Otherwise I’m not positive what glue they use but I would be looking for s...

Re: Operation: Make Supershot Do Gofast. Need ideas, advice.
As the maker of those chassis I would absolutely not recommend any of them for this usage. Polar opposite of what they were designed for. They more than likely would be snapped in half while barrel rolling during a 65mph speed run on dirt. There is a person on here selling metal copy of our chassis ...

Re: Veco spares
Mecoa still produces a few old school engines and parts from extinct manufacturers old molds, and there is a a Veco .19 on their list. Might be worth a try.
