Re: GV (Great Vigor) Hunter 1:8 4WD Nitro Buggy?
Graupner was a distributor that added their name to several other brands. That should be a Kyosho Group 20 Baja buggy under the Graupner name

Re: Composite Craft Predator
I wonder if that is a late kit- where they were already adapting it for the lynx but it was still sold as a standard. That might also explain the later style black motor plate and steering blocks

Re: EBay aluminum Rc10 parts
Are you talking about the Dhawk parts? Fit on mine were not terrible. Metal is soft. If it’s going on a show car it’s fine. You won’t add much durability with aluminum parts and they do scratch up pretty quickly so for a runner I would advise against them.

Re: Associated 05 modified
.05 was a rating given to the 540 class motors back in the day. I suspect it was a rough comparison of its power to a nitro engine. There were many other sizes, Astroflite for example had .035’s, .05’s, and 40’s.

Re: Pan Curious
Running on a non prepped outdoor surface, it won’t be a lot of fun with a 1/12. My recommendation would be bumping up to a 1/10 scale and buy the CRC rubber tires. Then you have a chance at going fast and being able to drive it. Foam tires on unprepped asphalt just lead to chunking and lack of tract...

Re: Pan Curious
With your printing abilities you could also made wheels for a 1/12 that use M chassis rubber tires. Should be relatively close to the right size. Of course narrower in the back and wider at the front than regular 1/12 but usable

Re: The Frankenbuggy
Typically you want a little sweep in the angle of the bones. Since you are making your own mounts it would be easy to move them back a few mm. They like being in an arc with the arm. Also if you narrow up the mounting you can shim them side to side, similar (in function, not appearance) to how our p...

Team A&L bellcrank mold
This mold had been sitting at the injection mold shop since April 1991. Originally there was a one million pull guarantee so long as the mold lived at the shop. We never hit that so it was technically still under warranty. Unfortunately the injection shop went through a change in ownership a couple ...
