The 4014 Big Boy was inside the UP Steam Shop after it’s run so I couldn’t see her up close but the static brother was just up the road so I got a few pics. The pic is a bit blurry and all, it’s a QRC transmission from a Kyosho rig. That gave it two speeds forward and two reverse. Pig slow

Reggie left quite a while back. Several long timers have disappeared and a few somehow deleted all their pics on the way out which is why the posts are locked now. I think Lowgear can unlock it for you. Good to have you back buddy. I miss the hunting for screws with one dot and such

Could be a Blue Eagle LS, but I suspect it is an earlier Blue Eagle with the long rear suspension added. The chassis is typical of the earlier Eagle and blue Eagle series- early chassis were painted with a black glittery paint. The shape should have changed by the time the LS arrived.

I had ordered some parts that were supposed to be round, spacers iirc, and they arrived oval shaped. I inquired and they pulled that accuracy card until I sent pics, then they reprinted and the next were fine. The big issue is the inconsistency, as buyers may think it’s your work that is incorrect w...

One of the reasons I grabbed one is to make towers and an upper chassis, maybe there are enough out there with them that it will be worthwhile
