Re: "Just a Slash" No Prep Drag Car
Let me know how that motor works out for ya. I have my eyes on that one or another revtech 4t. Light cars aren’t necessary, but it lets us put weight where we want it 8) we have a couple lcg cars that run with us, they do fine. The DR10 imo is better platform hands down to any Traxxas based rig I’ve...

Re: "Just a Slash" No Prep Drag Car
They mean venting holes, body mount holes are a given. They should clarify tho. The more rules they make the more detailed they need to be. The biggest gripe for us locally has been tire prep but it has always been allowed, the rule was just clarified lol. Everyone thought they weren’t allowed to pr...

Re: "Just a Slash" No Prep Drag Car
Beautiful
I rarely throw more than one color at these, as they seem to do the Mario brothers turtle maneuver at some point early in their life and i can’t take that sort of heartbreak .

Re: Any Idahoans? Considering a move...
....But no, I'm not an Idahoan. So I'm really talking outta my ass, essentially. Lol, I appreciate the insight on Moscow. I think we have it narrowed down to Pocatello or Idaho Falls. Maybe closer to Twin Falls or even Meridian. Something that isn’t terribly far for relatives and gives us a little ...

Re: "Just a Slash" No Prep Drag Car
I just got my 6 sets of the new crawler innovations foams. There is a coupon code that saves you a bit btw. Probably don’t share that too much cause I think it was just for or group hehe. One thing I found out is even though the wheels are vented with the new foams the tires will hold air like crazy...

Re: Packing it up. Not quitting, though.
By the time you get back I’ll be on your east side
We are getting ready to ditch Portland and head for Twin Falls where things aren’t so volatile and quite honestly just stupid.

Re: Stealth Trans w/Gear Diff
Looks great to me! I still need to order a third test from Shaoeways to get the holes the right diameter. You did exactly what I did- rotate the motor plate and raise the brace. One thing I struggled with was the motor plate holes since mine used all b6 driver train. I ended up screwing the motor pl...

Re: Stealth Trans w/Gear Diff
I’m glad to see someone else doing this- I don’t have the time and it’s something that would sell for sure. I don’t recall the idler teeth but it’s all b6. I did a couple different setups, and also modded them in case we wanted to run 4wd. I just never got around to finishing any of it. I don’t thin...

Re: 1/12 Z32 300ZX?
That was my donation. It’s from the Minicraft Academy 1/12 copy/clone of a Kyosho Super Alta. Here is the worst box art pic you have ever seen

Re: Stealth Trans w/Gear Diff
Glad to hear Sally is leaving. We are still deep in smoke here, enough that i am not working in the shop at all. That case is looking great! Really nicely done! So, the final step is to drill the screw holes for mounting the case to the chassis and the top brace plate and its spacer. This is where I...

Re: Stealth Trans w/Gear Diff
Easier to solve by creating new rear hub carriers that both fix the driveshaft angle and also correct the bone engagement. The ones I made adapt b6 cva’s over which also fixes the wheel offset problem by using modern wheels. That’s my .02 anyway

Re: My Ultima 2019
Its an expensive way to go just to mount a switch but our Factory Works upper chassis also replicates the original styling and adds some strength

Re: Team Cobra Trackside [Tire] Truer
If I were a betting man, my guess would be 1/12 and 1/10 front for the one without a pin, and the other for 1/12 rears. The diameter of the hubs would be 5/16 for a front 1/12 and 1/10 wheel, and 1/4” for rear 1/12
