I shimmed mine, took 2-3 shims per side. Luckily I have them on hand, they are 3/8 shims. Not sure your availability being imperial size

There are some reasons I can't really share that make me say that the FanRC parts are also closer to the originals. Yep, all of the above. The braces are being machined, same with the pulleys. Shims are already stocked and towers are already on the website.
