Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
Things have shifted. Bitd you built a Tamiya, then the AE felt like quality. Nowadays you build an Xray or Yokomo and then the rc10 and it's disappointing how bad the fit and finish is. You have to remember they have retooled all the molds at this point, they are working with modern stuff and can't ...

Re: The next rere... a GT?!!
The K&B I have is the .18 with the cast head, but I ordered a machined head as well for it. I already had the engine here. I also ordered another one with the machined head and a plain backplate off the plane engine to get rid of the pull start, but the pull start clears fine. It hangs down a li...

Re: Lunar eclips
Well, my phone heavily processes the moon (Samsung cheats lol) so the pics are just meh. Good for a phone, bad for any real photography.

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
The bodies and shafts seem pretty similar in feel, but the fanrc Oring spacers and clips as well as the shock pistons are better imo. They do not require any cleanup. The AE molded shock parts are not molded very cleanly. Getting the pistons off the tree and cleaned up is time consuming, unlike thei...

I shimmed mine, took 2-3 shims per side. Luckily I have them on hand, they are 3/8 shims. Not sure your availability being imperial size

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
There are some reasons I can't really share that make me say that the FanRC parts are also closer to the originals. Remember all of the AE parts have been retooled, these are all fresh molds so restoring a car using them vs the fan parts are really no different. He is a one man team and does very we...

Yep, all of the above. The braces are being machined, same with the pulleys. Shims are already stocked and towers are already on the website.
