Re: RC8b4 nitro kit questions

roto start is the drill starter you are thinking of.

As far as pipe and header for that, just find a good budget RTR setup, I dont think you will find much for gains just bashing. The SH pipe combo is on backorder but should be perfect if you can find one.

Re: AE RC10 4wd .step files

Ideally you would want to modify them in fusion360 or similar to compensate for the printing tolerances. If you want to try them as is, Bambu and orca slicer will take step files directly

Re: AE RC10 4wd .step files

its amazing how you can cut down development time by being smart. It took me 6 hours to model their parts vs a year of research and development to make it from scratch

Re: AE RC10 4wd .step files

It's incredibly easy to get started nowadays. The modern machines do most everything for you besides cleaning the bed off and loading filament. If you decide you need a new hobby one day it's totally worth it!

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1

lengthwise presents a problem when using a shorty lipo, as the terminal is right where the belt sits. If using a conventional pack the leads exit the front so no big deal there. Our FW version of the lipo shorty tray is my favorite for this application as well as the rc10 4wd. https://factoryworks.c...

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1

Was originally going to go with a MSP RC blue chassis, but they told me they're not making them again any time soon when I asked they a couple days ago. for the cost difference, I would consider using a stock chassis and having it re-anodized. The MSP was ok, but felt flimsier than the stock chassi...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

The AE rear bulkhead doesn't appear to fix anything, the chassis flex is still insane. I have a brace set coming soon for the new AE car, specific to it. With it you can remove the silly rear brackets it comes with. Didn't get a chance to reach out today, got thinking he probably wouldn't want to sa...
