Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

RogueIV wrote: does the MIP CVD set come with anti crush spacers for the bearings?
A 1/4" axle wont fit a crush sleeve, it would have to be paper thin. In the past all crush sleeves were for 3/16 axles, and MIP didnt include them.

Re: 6037 worlds car manual vs kit

No, always universals. The manual pics show a rc10t rear carrier and 1/4" stub axle and then a rc10 stub axle and carrier but they did try to crop one of the pics a little lol. Not sure why they didn't just take new pics but no, they never came with dog bones. I'm pretty sure there was a supple...

Re: RC10 Worlds Car Re-release Oct/Nov.

That was the one that failed 10 years ago, they were having AE Don assemble them to try to get them to sell. I would expect anything coming new to be on the new 60 years website, anything on the old one is going to be the old stuff That said, I suspect you are correct as the Worlds and hopefully tea...

Re: QIDI Plus4 - 3D Printer

I haven't read up on that one, you don't have the ability to print support material do you? If you do, it's definitely worth the added time and material. Looks like it just prints one color/material at a time

Re: How to get roll pin into rear axle

No those are for the 3/16 axles. You want 3/32 x 7/16 for the 1/4" axles (per the old AE header card)

guess what (the game)

Ok we haven't really done this sort of thing for years now, maybe we can give it another shot. Give a few word description of a vehicle that can be used to uniquely identity it. Make the few words count, saying it has gold shocks isn't going to narrow it down much. Also the descriptor words should p...

(added a line regarding that it must be a production vehicle, not a one-off)

Re: How to get roll pin into rear axle

I'll just need to whack a 1" incher in half (which will remove 1/8")
It sounds like the measure once cut twice then use the part you cut off to try again method
