Re: Part #: 6579 (Associated Diff Drive Rings) : This item has been discontinued
They made the new case (the new version of the 6565 and uses the old 6565 number) narrower between the bearings so you can't close the case if you try to install a vintage diff. You have to use the modern diff outdrives along with the case  To quote my old instructor at Ford, they could mess up...

Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build
That's quite a lot of power to put through generic T plugs, keep an eye on them. I'd trust legit deans but I've seen too many of those knockoffs melt. They really gave Dean's a bad name when they are just an inferior made rip off.

Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build
Not sure where they get that number, the original Deans are rated something like 30a (edit- rated 60a) and are much higher quality. If you watch some recent videos on YouTube, there is a ton of junk on amazon right now like 5a fuses that don't blow at 15a and terminals that are such poor material th...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Had a little bit of spare time today so I took a fairly stock grasshopper I had kicking around and added some parts that I had been saving up. Aluminum wheels, bumper, steering arms, nerf bars, gearbox, gearbox hangers, oil shocks, and a copy of a cyclone front end. Also threw some hornet tires on i...

Finished up a 3d printed speed control and top portion of a servo. The wires from an ESC just clip in.

Re: What Traxxas nitro chassis is this
Hey, I spent a lot of time with the wayback machine haha. the doc files should even link to the wayback archives page but there isn't a lot to be seen. Here is my google drive for the graupner stuff, the radicator 2 is in there https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16gCzthonUh4N45ZwKeQ_l7xzP5noUrA8...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
These are 5b clones made by Rovan or Rofun (seems to be the same company), and its the most basic one they sell- 29cc. Yes thats the air filter in the cockpit. It was on sale for $351 and they had a coupon as well, brought it down to $311. Right now they are $420 shipped. I trust this seller, but id...

Oh yeah goof off is some nasty stuff. I only use it when going nuclear on something. I'm actually surprised to see it didn't melt that body right through the work table and halfway to Alex

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
this is the AE we live with now, we need to just be happy the car doesn't have green tinge parts and a dull gold chassis like those factory 2nds they sold last year.

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
I definitely dont see them doing a CE arm .56 car, they will have .71 shocks its just a matter of time. The .56 CE arm cars were a fairly short run with 4 hole shock towers and I dont see them doing that again. They likely dont even remember it TBH. Id be betting on a CE or Team car, but they might ...
