One of my Tomahawks has the same gear box, also came with 10mm shocks and spike Sand Supers.
My guess is Kyosho was using up parts.

Quickly became a favorite

I'm thinking I'll use either the McAllister Wildcat II or a Bolink Funco. I'll never run this one.
