Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2022 ** - Winner - PARMA01
1 beautiful emerald green anodized RC10DS chassis, 1 awesomely detailed Tamiya Porsche 911 body, 80+ donor parts from a crashed Mustang DS, much time, lots of love, and 2 creative hands. These are the ingredients used to build this Porsche. https://live.staticflickr.com/4413/37019872620_6e017c9345_b...

Rebuilt RC10B4. Not a huge fan of the B4 body and definitely not a fan of cab forward bodies so adapted a B3 to fit

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2022 ** - Winner - PARMA01
Another botm virgin here.. This is my Team Losi JRX2 restoration. What started off as “Hey, I think I have enough extra parts to build a JRX2” ..turned into a full on obsessive build using as many correct, early parts as I could find. It does have a few subtle upgrades like ball bearing steering bel...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2022 ** - Winner - PARMA01
First time participant so I will go in with my favorite 4wD buggy of all time. This is my special build of the Tamiya Avante (2022 "TCS" Tokyo Custom Special is the name I gave it). The foundation is a 2011 reissue chassis with a 2018 30th anniversary chrome plated body, and 1988 vintage t...

Re: Factory Works “no Fox given” chassis set
Spent some time the last few weeks making the Factory Works Fox chassis better. I was never completely happy with version 1, the wonky stock steering was carried straight over and the crazy Ackerman just drives me nuts. The v2 now has our ball bearing steering kit slid in there with the entire front...

Re: Kyosho Pegasus - the Rough Rider contender
Made good experience with Dowanol PM to "rescue" the old original body. A small amount on an old cloth and overnight in a plastic bag. Then just peel it off. The decals survived bit I already plotted a sheet of new and will replace the worn-out ones.
