Re: Yokomo MR4-BC and MR4-BC special builds
Making slow progress on these builds after I contracted the 'human malware' but I'm on the mend. First up got all the bits for a MX-4 slipper. Not sure if this is going in the official special or the modified standard car. DSC_1796.JPG I managed to modify the rear gearbox parts of the LWB conversion...

Slowly putting project pink together.... if the Euro Composite chassis set wasn't rare enough it also has a WASP XL orange belt drivetrain and slipper, white SRM rear uprights to go with the white cold weather Yoke wishbones, Brimod (intermediate and long) shocks and MMS finned motor mount and nylon...

834B Newbie
Always wanted one of these, having been a total Yokomo guy bitd, but i started out with an 870c and just missed out on the 834b era. I got offered this example in a trade and jumped at it.... and it arrived a couple off days ago. It looks very very tidy indeed, although i do need a new yellow batter...

Works 91 Build
Well I can’t put it off any longer, these parts have been laid about for around ten years, I’ve been so embroiled in RC10s and Losis I kind of lost the love for the project.
Time to get the hammers and chisels out.

Re: Motors Storage
This is a good question and it does depend on a few factors really. What kind of a condition are your motors in and how have they been stored previously? Will you be getting them rebuilt and the magnets addressed prior to storage and will you be potentially using them in the future? I guess what I a...

Re: Hot Trick Optima 'Trinity Car'
Being a 1986 build I decided to go all-out 80's floro.... and spent a good while hunting online for inspiration from body shells past. I gathered up a few screen grabs of various themes i liked the look of and sent them off along with my body shell to my trusted paint guy.... he has never let me dow...

Gun Room almost done
Yet another "happy place in Steve-topia" pretty much finished 🙂 the gun room is about done. Only ones not on the new wall I built are a new tactical 12g which I'll be picking up from my FFL Mon/Tues & the home defense one which stays next to the bed. Everything is not only nicer lookin...

Kyosho Salute Project
Hi everyone! This isn't quite the usual order of build that I'd like to share. My 'donor' car is a vintage Kyosho Salute, that I'd assembled about 6 or 7 years ago. Some recent vintage parts that I was able to find led me to want to re-configure my Salute to resemble the first Optima I had owned (a ...

Re: Have Good News - Please post it here
I will start one off - today my wife finally got a new knee. She has been in agony with bone on bone joint pain, so this is a welcome upgrade as she puts it. :) The surgical staff were amazing and I was stunned when same day she was standing and walking with the help of a walker. It will take some t...
