Re: rpm ultra chassis build

Yikes, a combination of dust and oil on virgin RPM parts... I hope you manage to suck out the oil from the plastic fantastic pores  I'll be back here to comment in 2022.

- Masaaki Hirosaka MX-4 based prototype -

I was recently in contact with Masaaki Hirosaka through email and this popped up in the conversation at some point and wanted to share it with you all. Here is his note about the prototype you can see below: "There is a prototype that I made last in Yokomo for the World Championship race. This ...

Re: Rpm Ultramolded 10t: who the heck is Richard Royal?

Looking good there, can't wait to see the assembly! Richard Royall is indeed the owner of RPM. - RPS SE 834B -

I've had this old RPS dog for years (I bought it from Doug aka Apexspeed) and had gathered some parts for it over the years which were thrown in the box as I stumbled on them. I decided to give it a go and mounted a servo, PK Corally belt tensioner, gold alloy front lower arms, front bumper and spec...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2018 ** - Winner - A01butal

1989 Original Masami Hirosaka RC-10 GX prototype

Besides the fact it's in my hands now, I can't take much credit for this one obviously. All credit goes to Masami san and Masaaki san :-)

- Going back through a TEKIN chassis conversion -

Hi guys and gals, Been away from here and the hobby for quite some time, mainly due to a huge move to a new house and the Photobucket buggers totally discouraged me to restore all the picture inputs I had made on this fantastic forum. Now thanks to the F’@&) COVID-19 crap, I finally managed to b...

Re: - Going back through a TEKIN chassis conversion -

Getting there slowly on the front end.
I replaced the white stock bulkhead with a one piece RPM one. Added a MIP zero maintenance bellcranks and replaced the former clear fibreglass shock tower with a black died one.

Re: - Going back through a TEKIN chassis conversion -

Made some progress on the rear end today and finally got this damn rack to work by using spacers, longer screws, etc. It now works butter smooth although it feels very fragile.
