Re: - Going back through a TEKIN chassis conversion -
Made some progress on the rear end today and finally got this damn rack to work by using spacers, longer screws, etc. It now works butter smooth although it feels very fragile.

Re: - Going back through a TEKIN chassis conversion -
I then swapped the white stealth tranny that was in there with a black one. I adapted a gear cover and used some cloth with a sticky side to better seal it.

Next steps are adding sway bars. I will also try to put a mono shock system in the front. Might look cool.

Re: - Going back through a TEKIN chassis conversion -
Almost a roller now. Let’s get onto shocks! I’m tempted to use used Kyosho golds, it was wearing black Yokomo ones before with white plastic cups and spacers. Decisions decisions

Cher David, Looks fantastic... this conversion is legendary... and quite not the shizznit on the track bitd iirc  That yokomo on the motor plate is superb! Option House's would look great on this car indeed, with Tecna's for instance. Will you also replace the blue countersunk washers with bro...

Re: - Going back through a TEKIN chassis conversion -
Ok so Kyosho gold shocks went out really nice after a good maintenance. They are still butter smooth after all these years. No oil yet in them, but I’m tempted to do so. Usually I don’t store my cars with oil in the shocks, just some green slime in the cartridge. I finally found a good use for those...

Re: The car now stands on all fours... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10
Mmmmh GORGEOUS! You should fabricate a Kydex or alloy part that attaches to the Stealth and rear end of the chassis.
Will you add a body and electronics too?

Re: Tecnica’s RC10 — 2020 VONATS BUILD (maybe)
That can be solved with inner and outer shims on the shock shafts!tecnica2001 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 6:59 am Might order 1.18” B44 rear shocks to limit the down travel a bit, and it should be![]()

Here is a new built « Cadillac » RC10 I have been aiming to finish recently. Still need to work on electronics. Pro-Line Champion rear tires, 7 ribbed fronts and ProLine wheel covers. All credits for the body goes to Ultrahive.

Re: - Gene Husting replica, in memory of Brussels 22-03-2016-
Due to popular demand, I continued working on this bad boy and did the following: - installing an early Novak ESC, Airtronics receiver and random Futaba FPS-128 servo which will do until I find the proper Airtronics one. - worked on the front suspension with a Dremel as the reversed shocks were inte...

Re: RC10 FF
You could use a taller shock tower and play with inner spacers for the right suspension travel?

Re: PB ACE - The Prototype
Here is mine, ineteresting to see PB actually considered to build it as a mid motor like the Mustang and Maxima but went for the rear motored version in the end, which actually made it a failure. Still an incredibly nice looking car. These are probably one of the rarest models today, spare parts are...

Thank you guys!
and again to all the fellow enthusiasts of this forum who helped me to make this little project a reality (including Joe this time

Funnily enough this build started with terrorist attacks in Belgium and ended up being 99% done during COVID-19 lockdown.
