Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
Neat...but would've been cooler with Holiday Buggy style rears.

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
Do not despair, the kit comes will a full decal sheet so you'll only need to shoot one color. :D I haven't researched this yet but the blue sorta looks like Tamiya PS-16. Maybe those who have made a replica can chime-in and provide some guidance. That does look like PS-16 Metallic Blue. https://i.i...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
bA82-PhCNxM Cool interview. I know the industry has moved on, and tracks as in the video are harder to maintain, but THAT is what I call off road. The tracks today are on road tracks with INSANE jumps. I know the speeds today would never be possible on tracks like that, but that’s my opinion. Sorry...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
I finally watched the full Jay Halsey video on the previous page. I saw a pic of my replica at the 9:30 time stamp. :) This one? Yeah. That pic is from right before I sent it to him to sign the body so it still had the black wheels. I found the chrome outer halves after it came back. Almost 15 year...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2024 ** - Winner - TheDiamondOne
I'm in My entry is the Marui Racing Buggy, aka Hunter prototype (at very least, this is the inspiration, from a single picture) https://i.imgur.com/X7RrfXd.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/hXNwRk6.jpeg Again, this is relying a lot on 3D printed parts : At the very exception of the wheels (orginals from a Ma...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2024 ** - Winner - TheDiamondOne
Gonna take you back to an very important car in my rc history. 1989. This was my ultima that was modified as much as my budget for a 16 year old could afford mowing lawns (which I still do to this day for a living). Our local track converted to dirt oval. It was a very loamy heavily watered soil so ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2024 ** - Winner - TheDiamondOne
RC10B1.5 resto mod. The buggy that was meant to be but never happened and would have complimented the T2 nicely. This one started as a used, stripped down, left for dead T2 sport chassis from ebay that I picked up with the intention of making a modern "woin" racer. Highlights are a shorten...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Not my picture (my wide screen couldn't go anywhere near getting it all in), but this is a picture from the first day of this weekend's Vintage Bash in Knox, Australia.
Day one out of the way.... two more days to go!
Official count is 505 cars.... made it all the way around the track!Day one out of the way.... two more days to go!

Jammin Jay RC10
So yeah.. Haven’t done much building the past six or seven months. Thought I kick off this November with a rere Jay Halsey replica build. Trying to get all the cuts right. Not sure how much Jay trimmed the back of the chassis. The same goes for the front sides of the chassis. Might be that Jay did a...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
If associated had done this from factory I would have bought it for sure otherwise it’s just a rc 10 classic with different wheels and a sticker set

My 4WD Jay Halsey RC10
I wanted to share some pics of my Halsey edition, nice and low and 4WD. I wanted to get the body really and also show off the the Factory Works Ten 4.1 kit, I really like the mechanical look of the belt and pulley sticking through the body...kind of a supercharger sticking through the hood look. MCI...

Factory Works SRB X2 project
Machined delrin cases for SRB are finally here, and I had some bearing holders machined as well so I can offer the Tamiya version of the trailing arm kits. I'll have both on the website in a few days. To test the gearbox I made up some trailing arms for lay down shocks (as I lack any vintage roll ba...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
To me the car is a total rip-off of Jeff's kit...looks nothing like the prototype car that ran in the IFMAR 's that they are promoting in they're ads online...and it's not an opinion..it's a fact.
