Re: ** Build of the Year Contest - 2020 ** - Winner - Asso_man!

This was the first year ever that I remembered to vote twice. They might be family, but I only used one of my votes for the Stinger because it's a bad ass runner. Drove it again today and it's got balls for days! Doesn't stand a chance, but it's a nice car. Great bunch all around this year!

Re: ** Build of the Year Contest - 2020 ** - Winner - Asso_man!

I just want to see a Losi win it one year. I don't care who's it it, I would just love to see a Losi win "Car of the Year" for RC10talk.com. 😄

Not mine, but my design and parts. Finished by another
I won't vote for anything that isn't outfitted with electronics. But that's just me.

Re: ** Build of the Year Contest - 2020 ** - Winner - Asso_man!

If you really believe in what you have built then vote for it , if not vote for someone else , I've done both , I don't mind being beaten by a better car and often agree with the result ! A lot of it comes down to taste not quality and if everybody shared the same taste it would be a dull world ! I ...

Re: Sad Panda

Sad Panda has gotten quite a bit happier Complete tear down and thorough cleaning. New old stock body , decals, driver's seat/compartment, shocks and wheels. Panda branded receiver and Futaba servo and 210 ESC. Front tires are a fairly good match to the originals and the rears are Hornet tires. Hard...

Re: Bear Hawk

A little bit of finishing up. Full clean up and wiring reroute. New pair of correct rear tires for the new rear wheels. Still can't find new front tires but these aren't too bad. Rebuilt shocks with new silicone 5mm X 9mm hose. Changed the springs as the springs that were on it were both non-origina...

Derek

Remember racin' at Lynn's?
Frogs, hornets, Tamiyas and Kyoshos all road bumps.
Got a simpler RC10 in the works for a quick build.
But who knows, never thought I'd reanimate a Bearhawk, FX10, Wolfhunter and a Panda.

10LSO Resto (Video added)

Can anyone help me date this 10L? We've been talking for a while, but I can't seem to seal the deal... Sorry, I couldn't resist. Seriously, if I could get a little more precise info I'd appreciate it. I bought it from Jake (Seabass) and it has sat just like this for many years. it has a body, but my...

1986/87 Supercharge Hotshot

Probably not a car many on here will have even heard of, but in 1986 a chap by the name of Bill Jones campaigned a much modified Hotshot, which was dubbed the 'Supercharge Hotshot' and was named after his shop down near Romsey, Supercharge Models. Bill Jones was a very competitive driver, and actual...
