Re: The dog thread

Boxer overload lately. The two fosters are a handful- but adorable (when sleeping). 5 is too many.

Re: Kyosho Inferno ST resto-mod

Took advantage of the ☀️ and finished painting, pinstriped it and put the MCI repro decals on it! The OG Inferno ST is done!
Paints: PS33, PS62, PS6, PS48 (for whatever’s left of the rollcage), PS5 for the bed and of course PS1

Steve's 3d prints

Figured I'd just make one thread and post all my latest 3d prints I do under this thread. Just finished this one up tonight. During my time off from rods between Christmas & New Years I did this latest 3d print for the theater room. Joaquin Phoenix's iconic Joker stair dance. The print was a gre...

Cute little Harry Potter as a kid print and I just finished up. Has a neat cartoon'ish look to it.

Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)

Conversion kit from GrandPrix3D has arrived and the inventory for parts has begun. Printed parts feels strong, but there's alot of work to be done to them befor they look representable. A-arms are first sanded with 120 grit, then 800 grit. Finnishing of with a lite dremel 511S Abrasive Buffs 280. Un...

Re: Gun Room remodel

Took my best friend Todd to the range with me this past weekend to put 500rds through the 9mm AR. He fell in love with it and wants to build one for himself now

Gotta love ranges that let ya rapid fire too 8)

Re: RC10GT #7075, MIP stuff and box art look

The body turned out pretty nice for a runner. I procrastinated for a few weeks, then I just winged it one evening and did it in around four hours. The only thing bothering me is that I overdid the shading around the windshield. I tried to find the right shade of red, but couldn’t get any info about ...

Re: Kyosho Pro X build

Just need body, wing, and electronics. I put in this Kyosho stock motor. I've always liked the look of these motors. I love the look of these cars, but I wouldn't want to race one. So many weak areas, and the transmission is terrible. It was spinning smoothly in the case, but once installed on the c...

Re: Kyosho Pro X build

I finally found the correct axles to mount the shiny MIP cvds. Here they are next to the stock universals, that I polished. My XRT also has the shiny MIP cvds. They are very uncommon pieces on pretty uncommon models. The MIP drives are slightly longer than stock, and actually bottom out in the outdr...
