I didn’t see that coming
Nice turnaround! I thought you were going with an arctic snow theme when I first started scrolling. Looks really good though.

Re: Factory Team RC10GT (Open Box Build)
Another step to calling this one done. I purchased the TBG Ford body but I think it was for the shorter chassis truck. The length wasn’t even close. I found this recently and finally trimmed and mounted it up. It’s a “correct” Factory Team GT body and it fits much better. And besides, GM is better t...

Re: Factory Team RC10GT (Open Box Build)
For sure. I’m really starting to like the low slung low CG look of the newer style bodies more and more. I still prefer the first gen GT body, but the new trucks look good all sleek looking. One thing I wasn’t fond of with this body. Was the placement of the exhaust stinger in relation to the pre ma...

Re: 4wd RC10 — 2021 VONATS Entry
Haha, no bad intentions in my questioning. I was actually going to mention exactly what Jeff did if you hadn’t already made a plan for it. It just looked really close in the pictures I saw

Re: Factory Team RC10GT (Open Box Build)
I had no intention of painting today, it just happened. Anyways, what’s done is done. Another rattle can Mark Pavidis inspired theme.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
This is right up the street from my work, thought it’d be cool to take as close of a picture as I could.

Outlaw Rampage Pro, sport
Since I’ve been putting off building my NIB kit for so long. I though I’d add this to the shelf. Super clean truck, couldn’t have been run much at all. I pulled all the decals because they were placed pretty random and they were dirty and lifting. Other than that the body is in decent shape and usea...

Re: Outlaw Rampage Pro, sport
Hop-ups time. I bought this engine and manifold to stick in one of my GT’s but the crank case is so large it would’ve required stacking washers to raise the engine up. That seemed hack so I never did it. And besides it looks so much better with the blue chassis. Mega Duratrax job, engine mounts, exh...

Re: Outlaw Rampage Pro, sport
Also.... classic case of should’ve stopped while I was ahead. The manifold was pushing the body out quite a bit. I put a head gun on it and made it look decent. Then I kept going thinking I was going to form it tightly around the manifold and everything started shrinking  Oh well it is what it ...

Re: Aluminum RC10 3 piece wheels
A few different people have made those in aluminum over the years. I figured they were all aluminum. Maybe some of the manufactures only made the faces in aluminum.

Re: Factory Team RC10GT (Open Box Build)
Aside from putting a receiver pack on it. I’m calling this one done. Installed a decent condition used throttle servo so I could make the linkage without it flopping loose in the chassis. Trimmed out the windows. Put the bumper receiver pad on. And for that racer look added a fuel tank pull strap. 4...

Baja Frog
I’ve had both of these for many many years, but they’ve been buried in the bottom of a box so digging them out feels like they’re new to me again. The frog was a flea market buy a friend bought that was in the bottom with a bunch of other random cars. It’s in pretty complete condition that I can tel...
